Possession

A pre-possession walk through is done 2 weeks prior to taking possession if at all possible.  Deficiencies found at this walk through are, in most cases, fixed before possession day.

On possession day, an official certificate of possession is filed out and given to the owner as well as Alberta New Home Warranty. All deficiencies on that list are remedied within 12 months.

Clients are told they should keep a list of other items they find after living in the home full time; never catch all items on walk through.
